Welcome to ESS Utumishi, the Employee Self Service (ESS) portal designed for Tanzanian public servants. By accessing or using the Watumishi Portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Eligibility:
The ESS Utumishi portal is exclusively available to registered employees of the Tanzanian government. Unauthorized access or use by individuals who are not public servants is strictly prohibited.
Account Responsibility:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password). Any activity conducted under your account will be deemed your responsibility. Notify the portal administrators immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Data Accuracy:
The portal provides access to personal and employment-related information. While efforts are made to ensure data accuracy, users are encouraged to report any discrepancies to their respective HR departments for correction.
Acceptable Use:
You agree to use the portal for lawful purposes only. Misuse, including but not limited to unauthorized data extraction, distribution of malicious software, or any form of cybercrime, will result in legal action.
Privacy Policy:
Your personal information is protected under Tanzania’s data protection laws. The portal collects and processes data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
Service Availability:
The portal may experience downtime due to maintenance or technical issues. While we strive to ensure uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee 100% availability.
Amendments:
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
